The Seahawk Youth Rugby team is dedicated to teaching boys and girls, ages 5yrs to Middle School the fundamentals of rugby. Established in 2004, and sponsored by the San Jose Seahawks Rugby Football Club, we are the most established youth rugby program on the Peninsula. Based in Palo Alto the Peninsula Seahawks compete against other youth rugby teams throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Year after year, we remain one of the top youth rugby programs in the Bay Area, and have fun doing it!

The coaching staff is comprised of experienced rugby players who are dedicated to teaching the fundamental skills as well as instilling the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fitness.

Practices begin in November and home games played Sundays at Palo Alto High School. The Peninsula Seahawks Youth Rugby Team draws players from Mountain View, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Atherton, Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo, Hayward, and Fremont and Junior High Rugby players from all over the Peninsula and Silicon Valley.
